Micro Mission: think, code, create, protect

Everyday STEM Saturday is a hands-on enrichment program that introduces middle schoolers to computer science, cybersecurity, robotics, engineering, and career exploration in a single engaging weekend session. This first session uses BBC micro boards to teach physical computing: how devices sense, process, decide, and respond to the world around them. Students spend the morning building executive-function skills, exploring cybersecurity basics, and learning core programming logic before applying it all to a real design challenge: building their own Smart Safety Device. They leave with a working prototype, a taste of the engineering design process, and a clearer view of STEM careers.

The Everyday STEM Camp for middle schoolers offers an exciting and hands-on exploration of the principles, applications, and creative possibilities of STEM fields. STEM education is essential for students' success in today's digital and innovation-driven world, as it intersects with nearly every area of academic and career development. This camp is designed to ignite curiosity, foster collaboration, and provide participants with a strong foundation in problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

AI for Middle School Students

Learning to think alongside AI

AI is already part of students' worlds. This class helps them understand what it is, how it works, and how to use it well. It begins by clearing up the most common myths, then moves into hands-on practice with today's most widely used generative AI tools, prompt writing, and spotting AI generated content. Students leave with genuine curiosity about what AI can do and the confidence to use it thoughtfully.
